Description:
This course focuses on the refinement of the student’s academic and professional identity. It prepares the student for the Junior Project by reviewing issues related to becomingYour grade is based on 300 possible points. You earn points with each assignment, quiz, and the final (see below).

Research on college success
demonstrates that class attendance is a significant factor in student
success. Considerable
material will be covered during each class session.
There will be discussion of
assignments and handouts may be distributed. Therefore, lecture
attendance will be calculated into your participation grades.

grading scheme. Each written assignment will be evaluated on how

addresses the questions posed, the clarity of thinking, the organization
and presentation of the material, the quality of writing, and its
timeliness.
